Demineralised water

Reliable, clean, and consistently uniform quality—for industry, laboratories, and everyday use.

What is demineralized water (Demi H₂O)?

Demineralized water is water from which dissolved mineral ions have been removed by ion exchange and other processes. This prevents limescale and corrosion and ensures stable conductivity and purity. In our variants, typical electrical conductivity is below 8 µS/cm, covering a wide range of uses.

Purified with a classic ion-exchange system.

Suitable for: various industrial processes, cleaning solar power plants, cleaning and washing delicate glass surfaces (no streaks, free of impurities and limescale).

Beyond the classic version, we offer two variants for more demanding customers:

DEMINERALIZED WATER HP

Demineralized Water HP is water from which dissolved mineral ions and particles larger than 10 nm are removed during processing by ion exchange, ultrafiltration, and final “polishing.” This prevents limescale and corrosion and ensures stable conductivity, purity, and clarity. In our variants, typical electrical conductivity is below 0.5 µS/cm, covering a wide range of uses. This water complies with ISO 3969:200 Grade II (a standard specifying requirements for demineralized water for laboratory use) and ISO 23321:2020 (a standard specifying requirements for demineralized water used as a solvent in the paints and coatings industry).

Demineralization removes all soluble salts/minerals present in water as charged particles (ions). Such water has a fill-time electrical conductivity below 0.5 µS/cm.

Produced in accordance with ISO 3696:2000 Grade II and ISO 23321:2020.

Values at filling: conductivity ≤ 0.5 µS/cm (25 °C), pH 5.0–7.5, very low TOC, and minimal residue on evaporation.

Suitable for: sensitive systems and processes with high purity requirements (cooling, electrotechnical processes, laboratory solution preparation, fine manufacturing, demanding CNC applications).

DEMINERALIZED WATER EP (Ph. Eur.)

Demineralized Water EP is water from which dissolved mineral ions and particles larger than 10 nm (MWCO = 100 kDa) are removed by ion exchange, ultrafiltration, UV irradiation, and final “polishing.” This prevents limescale and corrosion and ensures stable conductivity, purity, and clarity. In our variants, typical electrical conductivity at filling is below 0.5 µS/cm, covering a wide range of uses. This water complies with the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur. 8.0) (Aqua purificata — Purified water in containers). Demineralized Water EP is NOT STERILE!

Demineralization removes all soluble salts/minerals present in water as charged particles (ions). Such water has a fill-time electrical conductivity below 0.5 µS/cm.

Meets the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.).

Values at filling: compliant with Ph. Eur., conductivity ≤ 0.5 µS/cm (25 °C), pH 5.0–7.5, very low TOC, and minimal residue on evaporation.

Suitable for: pharmaceutical processes, research, and healthcare applications where Ph. Eur. compliance is required.
