CLP - Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures

CLP Regulation on Classification, Labeling and Packaging of Hazardous Substances and Mixtures was adopted in the form of European Parliament Regulation no. 1272/2008.

The implementation of the CLP provisions of the Regulation, which is the basic tool of the REACH Regulation, means the implementation of sustainable development ideas.

The main aim of the regulation is to determine what kind of hazardous chemical properties a chemical has, and to provide this information through a label and safety data sheet to the user, thus enabling a more conscious, rational and responsible use at both the local and global levels.

The Regulation is based on the GHS (Globally Harmonized System), a globally unified labeling system for hazardous chemicals
